Lane Gill of Sundance Signs with Northwest College for Basketball

Sundance basketball player Lane Gill will be taking his skills to Northwest College in Powell in the fall. Gill averaged 13 points and 7 rebounds for the Bulldogs who finished 3rd at the 2A State Tournament in 2021 with a record of 21-2. Gill shot 57% from the two-point range that season.

The 6-3 guard also enjoyed an outstanding season in 2020 averaging 9 points and 5 rebounds a game as the Bulldogs took 2nd place at the 2A State Tournament. He was named all-state in his junior and senior seasons.

Gill also played football for Upton-Sundance and caught 15 passes for 224 yards and a touchdown in 2020.
