Laramie's Aidan Morris certainly is a versatile athlete in track and field as he competes in the pole vault, the hurdles, the long jump and runs in the Plainsmen 4x100 relay team. Last week at the Kelly Walsh meet in Casper on Friday, Morris won the pole vault at 13 feet 11 inches, placed 2nd in the 110 hurdles with a time of 15.56 and his 4x100 relay team took 4th in 45.25.

Morris had an excellent indoor state track meet in Gillette with a gold medal in the long jump, a 2nd place finish in the pole vault, he took 3rd in the 55-meter hurdles and the Plainsmen 4x200 relay team took 7th.

In addition to track, Morris has been on the baseball diamond with the Laramie Rangers American Legion team and is a two-time 2nd team all-state selection. So he's a busy guy. We caught up with Morris back on Friday to chat about his track day!
