The Little Snake River girls basketball team won 2 out of 3 at the 1A West regional tournament and also won 2 out of 3 at the state tournament to finish the year 16-12. The Rattlers came out of that regional tournament as a #2 seed but did lose their quarterfinal round game at the state tournament to Rock River 52-48. It was a compelling game and they were led in scoring by Skylynn Ready with 15, while Samantha Moon had 12 and Hannah Sixkiller threw in 10

In the consolation round, Little Snake River survived a close game with Farson-Eden by the final score of 43-39. The Rattlers were 20-31 from the free-throw line and won the rebounding war by 12. Sixkiller had a dozen points and Moon had 11 points and 13 rebounds.

In the 5th and 6th place game, Rattlers finished the season the right way with a 41-24 win over Saratoga. Moon had a terrific game with 19 points and 13 rebounds. Vea Habel had 12 rebounds. Samantha Moon is a 2-time all-state selection with Hannah Sixkiller and Kyra Corson earned all-conference distinction. Moon and Corson were seniors this year so there will be some rebuilding in Baggs next season.
