With the new season underway, the first volleyball rankings of 2022 are here with our WyoPreps Coaches and Media Poll.

Three defending champions and a perennial power top the four classifications. Kaycee, Big Horn, Lyman, and Kelly Walsh start the season at No. 1.

In Class 1A, ten teams received votes in the first poll. The Buckaroos were one of six that got a first-place vote. They earned the most with four and top the rankings. Saratoga sits second, while last year’s runner-up, Cokeville is in third. This division also features the only tie with Little Snake River and Southeast sharing fourth.

Douglas is in third. Both the Buffalos and Bearcats got one first-place vote. Pinedale and Powell are fourth and fifth, respectively. Six other teams earned at least one vote.

Runner-up the last two seasons, the Kelly Walsh Trojans are the choice for the top spot in the 4A division. They received eight of the 12 first-place votes.
