Cheyenne East star athlete Madison Blaney has found another home for basketball as she has signed with Western Nebraska in Scottsbluff. Blaney first signed with Sheridan College but the school dropped their sports teams entirely but had found an opportunity with the Cougars.

In her senior's season in basketball, she averaged 11 points a game and 6 rebounds per contest. She is a two-time all-state selection in basketball and also is an all-state pick in volleyball.

Blaney who began her prep career at Big Horn also competed in track & field in her junior season placing 5th in the 100-meter hurdles at the 4A state meet and 6th in the 300-meter hurdles.
