Micah Christensen Named New Gillette Football Coach

Longtime Gillette football assistant coach Micah Christensen will take over as the programs head coach after Vic Wilkerson resigned after 13 years in the job. Christensen has been coaching the linebackers in Gillette for the last 12 years and also worked in Brush, Colorado for 8 years as a defensive coordinator. The Camel program will be in transition this season with several junior and seniors opting to play at the new Thunder Basin High School.
