The Natrona County Mustang wrestling team won the Class 4A wrestling championship on Saturday Night.

This is the team's seventh wrestling title in school history and their first since 1984.

The team scored a total of 247.5 points to secure first place at the tournament.

The Natrona County Mustangs are coached by Scott Russell.

Natrona had a total of 13 wrestlers' place at the tournament and added on two state champions.

Along with the two individual state champions the team had two wrestlers finish in second, four finish in third, three finish in fifth, and two finish in sixth.

Kyler Henderson, Sr. beat Jais Rose, Fr. of Thunder Basin by Dec 3-1 for first place at 132 pounds.

Kaeden Wilson, Jr. at 152 pounds was able to pin Cael Porter, Jr. of Thunder Basin to win the state championship.

Kaden Orr, Fr. at 106 pounds, and Cyruss Meeks, Sr. at 145 pounds both finished in second place for the team.

Four wrestlers finished in third place for the Mustangs. Tate Tromble, Jr. at 113 pounds, Nathaniel Sausedo, Sr. at 126 pounds, Davis Knight, Sr at 195 pounds, and D'Anthony Smith, Sr. at 285 pounds.

Kael Johnson, Jr. at 120 pounds, Dylan Brenton, Jr at 132 pounds, and Billy Brenton, Jr. at 138 pounds all finished in fifth place.

Both Jack Mortimer, Jr. at 182 pounds, and Colter Helm, Sr. at 220 finished in sixth place for the Mustangs.
