Natrona County junior Lexie Ransom is another new member of the 1,000-point club for high school basketball.

Ransom accomplished the feat early in the Fillies’ game against Thunder Basin on Jan. 20, 2023, in Casper.

Ransom is a transfer move in from South Carolina to Casper. She started playing varsity basketball as an eighth grader at Seneca High School down in the Palmetto state. So far this season, Ransom has helped NC to a 7-6 overall record. The junior is averaging 10.4 points and 3.8 rebounds per game and shooting 35 percent from the floor.

As a sophomore in South Carolina last year, Ransom averaged 24 points, six rebounds, four assists, and 3.5 steals per game according to an article by Upstate Today. In her freshman year, she contributed 12.2 points, 5.8 rebounds, 5.1 assists, and 4.8 steals a game.
