Gillette's Levi Palmer Signs for Football at Montana Tech

Campbell County all-state linebacker Levi Palmer is furthering his football future after signing at Montana Tech. The senior was a three-year starter for the Camels on the gridiron. Palmer was a two-time all-state and all-conference selection in 2022 and 2023. He also earned the 4A East Conference Defensive Player of the Year award in 2022.

Palmer helped the Camels to a record of 6-4 in the 2023 season. Campbell County earned the No. 4 seed in the 4A football playoffs but fell to crosstown rival Thunder Basin.

As a senior, Palmer finished sixth in Class 4A in defensive points at 13.4 per game. He made 89 tackles during the 2023 season, an average of 8.9 per game. Palmer had 5.5 tackles for loss, two sacks, and one pass breakup last fall.
