The cross-country season is heading down the stretch with regional meets held over the weekend. The 3A East regional was in Buffalo on Friday and it was a bit cold but it was soggy. On the boys' side, Trajn Swalstad of Worland placed first in 16.37.55 with his teammate Jacob Holiday 2nd in 17.32.50. In 3rd place was Ethan Rayo from Buffalo in 17.39.79, Sully Wilson from Torrington was 4th with a clocking of 17.45.09 and Zach Freise of Buffalo was in the 5 spot in 17.48.97

In the boys' team standings in the 3A East meet, Worland was first with 29 points, Buffalo 2nd with 40 and Rawlins took 3rd with 126.

For the ladies, the first-place finisher was Maya Hall from Buffalo with a time of 19.44.01. She was followed by Zena Tapia of Worland in 20.04.36. Kaycee Kominski of Torrington took 3rd in 21.29.27 with Hadlee Carter from Buffalo 4th with a time of 21.29.27. Newcastle's Aspen Bloom was 5th in 21.45.36

The Buffalo girls once again won the 3A East regional with 28 points, Worland 2nd with 49 and Douglas took 3rd with 88. Be sure and take a look at some photos from that race in Buffalo on Friday. They can be found in our gallery below.
