PhotoFest: Jackson Remains in 3A Playoff Hunt Beating Green River
The Jackson Broncs won a game they needed to have to keep their 3A playoff hopes alive as they downed Green River on Friday 30-6. The Broncs got off to a good start with a field goal and a touchdown connection from Harrison Ward to Seb Brunner to lead 9-0.
Later in the game, Thomas May scored the first of his two touchdowns on the night. The first one was set up by an 85-yard kick return to begin the 2nd half. Ward also threw a 2nd half TD pass to Andrew Hanna so Jackson sits at 3-4 overall and 1-2 in conference play. They are fighting Evanston for that last playoff spot from the West as the Red Devils are also 3-4 overall and 1-2 in the league.
The Broncs have a tough home game this week hosting a very good Powell team and Green River at 1-6 overall has a tough home game this week hosting a very good Cody squad.
