Powell’s Kayla Kolpitcke Commits to Marian for Hockey & Soccer
Kayla Kolpitcke, a versatile athlete from Powell will be going to Marian University in Fond Du Lac, Wisconson to play hockey and soccer. Kolpitcke has been a goalie in hockey for the last 10 years and played on the Park County U19 team that won the state championship for the 5th year in a row. She had a save percentage of .937 for the Ice Cats in their latest championship season.
Kolpitcke is an all-conference performer in soccer for the Panthers and also ran in the 3A state cross country meet all 4 years of high school. She finished 15th as a freshman, 5th as a sophomore, 12th as a junior, and 16th as a senior.
Marian University in Fond Du Lac is a Division III school and the Sabres were 4-19-2 this past season.
