It's been a long, long time since Rawlins has won a state championship in boys basketball. In fact, 1997 is the last time the Outlaws took home the hardware but that changed on Saturday with a 40-39 win over Douglas in the 3A title game in Casper.

Rawlins has finished 3rd at the 3A State Tournament in the last 8 years and they have not had a losing season since 2009. The long process to the title is complete and we had a chance to talk with Outlaw players Ashton Barto, JC Ice and coach Denver Allard about getting to the top of the mountain.
