The Rock River girls basketball team had just 8 players on their roster but they made the most of it as they qualified for the 1A state tournament as a #3 seed. The Longhorns have a dynamic player in 5-3 Delaney Qualls who averaged 17 points a game this past season and has signed on with Rocky Mountain College in Billings, Montana. She is a 2-time all-state selection and this Rock River team had 3  additional players that made all-conference, Rachel Broyles Annetta Broyles and Lydia Moore.

In the opening round of the 1A state tournament, the Longhorns defeated Little Snake River 52-48 in a game that they led by as many as 14. Rock River made an astounding 11 3 pointers in the game with Qualls throwing in 24 points with Lydia Moore grabbing 10 rebounds.

In the 1A semi-finals, Rock River had a very tough offensive game and lost to Kaycee 26-21 in a game that the Longhorns led by as many as 7. This time around, Rock River was 1-10 from the 3 point line with Qualls leading the way with 10 points and Moore corralling 10 rebounds.

Rock River finished the season with a 52-37 loss to Upton to take 4th place at the tourney. Qualls had 19 and Moore 11 as the Longhorns rang the 3 bell 7 times.  This team finished 17-10 but will lose 3 big seniors for next year in Qualls, Moore and Annetta Broyles
