Rocky Mountain Vs. Upton-Sundance Football [VIDEO]

In 1A 11 man, one loss Upton Sundance had a home playoff game on Friday as Rocky Mountain made the long trip over to the Northeast side of the state.  This game as all Upton Sundance who tallied a couple of touchdowns in the 1^st quarter. Jayden Caylor got to the end zone from 11 yards and Kye Taylor caught a 32 yard TD pass from Brad Kruger.

In the 2^nd quarter, Jess Claycomb gave the US Patriots a 21 point lead with a 24 yard run for a touchdown. Rocky Mountain answered with a 21 TD connection from Carsyn Weber to Austin Haslem to cut the lead to 21-7. Upton Sundance then got serious as Kruger found Taylor for 34 yards and a score. Which was followed by Kruger throwing a 56-yard touchdown pass to Caylor so the Patriots led the Grizzlies 34-7 at halftime.

In the 3^rd quarter, Caylor sprinted 38 yards to the end zone for his 3^rd touchdown of the game and Claycomb chipped in a 15 yard run for a TD. The Patriots also recovered a fumble for a score as Upton Sundance gets to 9-1 on the year with a big 53-7 win over Rocky Mountain. The Patriots will be on the road in the 1A 11 man semifinals at Cokeville. Rocky Mountain wraps things up at 6-4.
