Rocky Mountain's Teagan Townsend will continue her basketball journey at Dickinson State, an NAIA school in North Dakota. Townsend is a 3-time all-state selection and averaged 13 points per game this past season for the Grizzlies, shooting 53% from the floor and 72% from the free-throw line. She also averaged 3.6 assists and 3.3 steals per contest.  Her team went 21-7 in 2019-20 and qualified for the 2A state tournament. Townsend had a season-high 25 points against Riverside and 23 vs. Lander.

Townsend is also an all-state volleyball player and also competed in the 2019 state track meet in the 100 and 300-meter hurdles. Dickinson State went 8-20 last year and has 2 other Wyoming high school products on the roster. Shelby Wardel from Lovell and McKenzie Reed from Farson-Eden.
