The Saratoga girls basketball team entered their 1A regional as a #3 seed and qualified for the state tournament with a win over the #1 seed in that tourney, that being Meeteetse. So the Panthers did have a good deal of momentum coming into the state tournament, once again as a #3 seed,

In the quarterfinal round, Saratoga ran into a pretty good Upton team and lost 53-34. 29 turnovers didn't help the Panther cause but they did get 13 points in that game from Savannah Wells and 10 points from Whitney Bennett.

But Saratoga turned right around and disposed of Lingle-Fort Laramie 46-36 in a game that featured a combined 40 points in the 4th quarter. Whitney Bennett had an amazing game stat-wise for the Panthers with 16 points and a whopping 17 rebounds. Taylor Bennett chipped in a dozen.

That put Saratoga in the 5th and 6th place game which resulted in a 41-24 loss to Little Snake River. Whitney Bennett led the way with 9 and Makiya Johnson had 8. Bennett was named all-state as she averaged 13 points a game while Taylor Bennett was named all-conference. The Panthers finished the year 14-12 but Whitney Bennett was just a freshman this season but Taylor Bennett was a senior.
