
Saratoga’s Whitney Bennett Joins the 1,000 Point Club
Saratoga senior Whitney Bennett surpassed 1,000 points in her high school career last weekend at the Carbon County Classic.
Bennett is a three-sport star for the Panthers in volleyball, basketball, and track and field.
She is a three-time all-state and all-conference selection on the basketball court.
Bennett is averaging 20 points and 14.3 rebounds per game through the first three contests of the 2022-23 season. She is also contributing 6.3 assists and 3.3 steals per game. Her rebounding and assist averages lead the entire state of Wyoming as of the time of publication.

As a junior last season, Bennett averaged 15 points and 11.1 rebounds per game. She led Saratoga in nearly every major statistical category except field goal percentage, 3-point percentage, and offensive rebounds.
Bennett averaged 16.8 points and 11.7 rebounds per game as a sophomore and 13.2 points and 10.8 rebounds per game as a freshman.
She is also a two-time all-state pick in volleyball and a three-time state champion in track and field.
