Lyman all-star wrestler Sefton Douglass will be taking his skills right down I-80 to Western Wyoming Community College in Rock Springs. Douglass will go down as one of the best wrestlers the state of Wyoming has ever produced with a 4-year record of 153-3. He is one of 26 boys to win 4 state championships in his career and did not lose a match in his last 3 years of competition.

In his senior year, Douglass won the 3A 126-pound championship with a pin over Jake Hammer of Pinedale to finish the year at 46-0. Back in 2021, he went 40-0 as he took the 3A 113-pound championship over Zach Covolo of Rawlins 8-1. In his sophomore season, Douglass wrestled 21 times and won them all including a 5-3 win over Jacob Guild of Star Valley to win the 3A 113-pound title. As a freshman, he was 44-3 and won the 3A 106-pound championship bearing Nicholas Melchor of Douglas by a fall.

Western Wyoming is one of the few junior colleges in the state to compete in wrestling and qualified for the NCJAA National Tournament in 2021.
