Sheridan Girls Basketball Postgame Remarks
The Sheridan girls basketball team had a long stretch of road games this month, starting with the Cheyenne tournament, then over to Cody, then to Buffalo, and then to Casper on Friday to take on Natrona. The Broncs entered the game as the #5 ranked team in 4A with NC ranked 4th. Sheridan had a 20 point lead but held off a furious Natrona rally to win 42-40, advancing to 6-3 on the year.
This is a team with height and more than a few playmakers so we'll see how they fare as the season goes on. We talked with Bronc players Gillian Mitzel and Sydni Bilyeu after that game in Casper on Friday night. They were happy and maybe a little bit tired. Maybe.
