The awards keep piling up for a Sheridan High School grad...and she still have one more year of college eligibility.

For the third straight year, Univ. of Wyoming Cowgirl Kayla Woodward, has been named first-team All Mountain West Conference in women's basketball.

She was the conference's pre-season Player of the Year for the 2013-2014 season and finished third in league play scoring, averaging 16.7 points per game.

The junior forward was also first in the conference, averaging almost 3 3-point field goals per game, 5th in 3-point shooting (almost 42%), and averaged almost 7 rebounds per game.

Tongue River HS grad Fallon Lewis was given honorable mention honors.

She averaged 13.8 points, and 9.9 rebounds per game.

UW (19-10) begins play in the Women's Mountain West Conference Basketball Tournament, on Tuesday March 11th, vs. Boise State.

The Cowgirls are the #5 seed, and earned a first round bye.
