Eight Teams Unbeaten Early in Wyoming High School Girls Soccer Season

Two weeks of the Wyoming High School girls' soccer season are done. Some 3A teams played their first match of the year last week. Three schools have not played an official match yet. The Class 4A East Conference got its first league matches played last week. Five schools in the 4A West Conference were on the pitch last week, but three did not play, as they were on Spring Break.

Through the first two weeks, eight teams remained unbeaten on the season. That does include schools with ties but no losses on their record. Riverton and Thunder Basin have the most points and lead the 4A conferences. Lander's shootout win last Friday at Buffalo gave them nine points early in the season.

3A teams will go to a shootout to determine a winner after a tie in regulation. Teams will get 2 points for a win. Losing teams receive 1 point for a tie in regulation time before the shootout.
