The 2024 high school softball season in Wyoming starts this week. Unfortunately, Mother Nature has interfered, again. For the third time in four years, the Cheyenne Softball Invitational was canceled, this time it was due to a snowstorm. All 13 teams were supposed to begin the season over two days of action. The tournament was revised to one day but not enough sun and warmth will allow the fields to be playable in the Capital City.
