Southeast is currently 9-1 in the 1A girls ranks after wins over Shoshoni and St. Stephens on Friday in Glenrock. The Cyclones held those teams to 16 and 22 respectively so the defense can carry this team a long way. The offense can too and there are plenty of sources of scoring on this team. A year ago, the Cyclones took 3rd at the state tournament as they lost to eventual state champion Cokeville in the semi-finals. This team has the potential to go far so we'll see how it goes.

We talked with Southeast players Shelby Ekwall and Sydney Anderson after that victory over St. Stephens. They are certainly optimistic about the rest of the season.
