Southeast Girls Defeat St. Stephens to go 2-0 in Glenrock
The ladies from Southeast High School in Yoder have started the season winning 9 of 10 and posted 2 big wins in the Glenrock quad on Friday. The Cyclones handled both Shoshoni and St. Stephens and this is a team that has a returning all-state player in Brenna Herring and a returning all-conference player in Sydney Anderson. In that game with St. Stephens, Anderson had 14 points, Baylie Booth added 13 with Herring and Shelby Ekwall chipping in 10 each. Southeast has made 10 straight trips to the state tournament.
It's been a rough go of it for the St. Stephens girls team as they played just one game last season due to Covid 19. The Eagles were state champions in 2016 and received 6 points from Faylene Ridgely and 4 from Amanda Jenkins in that loss to Southeast.
Be sure and take a look at our video we have of that game on Friday in Glenrock as well as more few pics of the contest in our gallery. Enjoy!
