St. Stephen’s Back in Business after a Split in Glenrock
The St. Stephens boys basketball team waited a long time to get back on the court and play a game after missing a vast majority of last season due to coronavirus concerns. The Eagles played just 3 games last season but so far this season, they're 7-2 after a split in the Glenrock quad on Friday.
St. Stephens did lose to Pine Bluffs in the first game on Friday but Jordan Barraza rang up 30 points in that game. The senior can score at the rim or away from the rim so his offensive skills are special. Barraza did have 19 points in their win over Southeast and is the leading scorer in 2A averaging 30 a game.
Tyren Ridgley has scoring ability too and the junior guard had 16 points in that Southeast game. The Cyclones for their end of the deal were led in the game by Cooper Larkin with 14 and Austin Short had 12.
We have some video for you from that St. Stephens/Southeast game on Friday and some photos of the contest as well in our gallery. Take a look!
