It is the final week of the boys’ 2026 regular season for Wyoming prep swimmers and divers. This week is highlighted by the state preview meet weekend in Cheyenne. In three weeks, East High School will host the state championships. Two meets on Friday and Saturday will provide teams an opportunity to check out the venue and face tough competition over two days in the pool. Friday is a non-scored pre-invite, followed by Saturday’s Cheyenne Invitational with 15 teams in the field.

WYOPREPS WEEK 7 BOYS SWIMMING AND DIVING SCHEDULE 2026

Buffalo has its home invite weekend over two days with a small field. Lyman has a four-team invite on Friday, and Kemmerer hosts a five-team invite on Saturday. Next weekend will be the conference championships, followed by the last chance swim meets in two weeks. The schedule for Week 7 of the prep boys’ swimming and diving season in the Cowboy State is below. The schedule is subject to change.

Tuesday, Jan. 27:

FISH BOWL: Kelly Walsh 105 Natrona County 64 – dual.

The Trojans won 7 of the 12 events. Benjamin Yoder (KW) and Raidyn Young (NC) were 2-event winners, individually.

Cody 148 Powell 117 – dual.

The Broncs won 8 of the 12 events. Isaac Woods (Cody), Emi Vizcaino (Cody), and Hugh Carpenter (Pow) were 2-event winners, individually.

Sheridan 97 Thunder Basin 62 – dual.

The Broncs won 10 of the 12 events, and Ben Forsythe set a school record in the 50 Free at 23.99 seconds.

No team scores. Cody won 4 of the 12 events.

CHEYENNE PRE-INVITE (non-scored) at East HS – Campbell County, Cheyenne Central, Cheyenne East, Cheyenne South, Douglas, Green River, Kelly Walsh, Lander, Laramie, Rawlins, Riverton, Rock Springs, Sheridan, Thunder Basin.

LYMAN INVITE – Evanston, Kemmerer, Lyman, Sublette County.

Team Scores = Evanston 179, Lyman 155, Sublette County 79, Kemmerer 75.

Lyman won 6 events, and Evanston won 5. Lyman's Branson Busskohl (200 IM & 100 Free) and Evan Bentley (50 Free & 100 Fly) were two-event winners. So was Evanston's Jacob Olson (200 Free & 500 Free).

Saturday, Jan. 31:

BUFFALO INVITATIONAL – Buffalo, Cody, Natrona County, Newcastle, Worland.

Team Scores = Buffalo 417, Cody 284, Natrona County 200, Worland 127, Newcastle 101.

Buffalo won eight of 12 events. Everett Thomas (50 & 100 Free) and Quinn Byram (IM & Backstroke) were 2-event winners. The Bison also swept all 3 relays.

CHEYENNE INVITATIONAL at East HS – Campbell County, Cheyenne Central, Cheyenne East, Cheyenne South, Douglas, Green River, Kelly Walsh, Lander, Laramie, Rawlins, Riverton, Rock Springs, Sheridan, Thunder Basin.
