Thunder Basin beat Kelly Walsh 1-0 in the Wyoming High School State Soccer tournament to advance to the state championship.

The match was a strong defensive battle by both teams.

The game saw many shots and key defensive saves by both goalkeepers.

The score was 0-0 at halftime and stayed that way at the end of the regulation. Extra time was needed in this game.

Thunder Basin was able to hit a goal off of a rebound in the seventh minute of the first half of extra time.

The Bolts made some key saves extra time to eventually win the game.

Thunder Basin advanced to the state championship game and will play Jackson for the title on Saturday.
