Torrington Volleyball Wrap-2019 [VIDEO]

The Torrington Blazers didn't have an outstanding regular season but they sure opened up some eyes at the 3A East regional tournament. After an opening-round loss at regionals, the Blazers reeled off 3 wins in a row to qualify for the state tournament as a #3 seed. At the state tournament, Torrington ran into a buzzsaw and lost in 3 straight to Pinedale and was eliminated by Mountain View in the consolation round 3-1. The Blazers did not have an all-state selection this season but Dani Masterson was named all-conference. This team was fairly young with just 2 seniors so there's plenty of room for growth for 2020.
