
Ten Tracksters Represent Wyoming at the Arcadia Invitational
The prestigious 57th Arcadia Invitational is on Friday and Saturday at Arcadia High School in California. This national track meet brings in around 4,000 top high school track athletes for competition every year. Ten Wyoming prep athletes from five high schools in the Cowboy State are competing in the 2025 track meet. The Arcadia Invitational has various divisions. They are Open, Rising Stars, Invitational, Seeded, and Rated.
Cheyenne Central and Star Valley are represented by three apiece. There are two from Laramie, and one each from Jackson Hole and Sheridan. All ten will compete on Saturday.
Wyoming's Had Success at Arcadia the Last Two Years
In 2023: Lander's Gage Gose and Colby Jenks of Big Piney Won Races
In 2024: Star Valley's Valerie Jirak Won the Heptathlon
Sheridan’s Chance Morris will run in the Seeded 100 meters and the 200-meter Invitational race.
Star Valley’s Jase Burton will compete in the 3200-meter seeded race. His teammate, Habtamu Wetzel, races in the 3200-meter invitational division. Abigail Carillo-Zarate from SVHS is in the Open shot-put division.
Central’s Tegan Krause will be the busiest student-athlete from Wyoming. He runs in the Open 100, Open 200, and Seeded 400-meter races. Race Morrell is in the Open 1 Mile and Open 800-meters. Kalyanna Flores is in the Open 400 meters.
Laramie’s Lainey Berryhill is in the Open 400-meters, and teammate Flynn Arnold races in the 400-meter Invitational division.
Ella Weimer from Jackson Hole will be in the Open high jump competition.

Saturday’s action at Arcadia starts at 9:30 a.m. and goes until 9:30 p.m., Pacific Time.
