
Cody Won Both Team Championships at 3A State Indoor Track in 2025
The Cody Broncs and Fillies swept the Class 3A team title at the Wyoming High School Indoor Track State Championships last Thursday and Friday in Gillette. The Fillies won three individual events, and the Broncs won seven. Both teams won their third consecutive Class 3A crown. Cody sophomore Kyler Stinson won three state championships, as did Pinedale senior Madison Antonino. Twelve class records were either set or tied at the 3A state meet.
Stinson won the 55-meter, 200-meter, and 400-meter races. He set new records in the 200 at 22.39 seconds and 400 at 50.23 seconds. Stinson also ran on the Cody 4x400-meter relay, which set a new class record at 3:30.55 in their first-place finish. His teammates also set class records. Kyler Winters won the 3A pole vault at 14-3.50, and Jarom Beardall won the long jump at 21-10.25. Beardall was also on the 4x400-meter relay squad. The Broncs scored 154.5 team points and won by 89.5 points. Buffalo placed second at 65 points. Worland took third at 60 points, and Mountain View finished fourth with 59.5 team points.
The Buffalo 4x800 meter relay set a new class record in their victory at 8:18.55. The other boys’ record to fall within the class was in the shot put. Derek Hagler of Mountain View won with a new standard of 56-0.50.
Pinedale senior Madison Antonino was also a star. She won three events on the track. Antonino captured the 3A 800 meters, 1600 meters, and 3200 meters. She ran 2:25.89 for first place in the 800. Her time in the 1600 was 5:22.07, and Antonino won by over ten seconds. The Wrangler senior dominated the 3200 and set a new class record at 11:18.40. Her margin of victory was over 27 seconds.
The Cody Fillies scored 118.5 team points and snagged the top trophy. Torrington placed second at 81 points. In third place was Worland at 66.5 points, followed by Buffalo at 63.5 points.

Cody’s Isabelle Paddock won the pole vault with a new class mark of 11-0.50. Allison Gee won the 3A high jump, and the Fillies crossed the finish line first in the Sprint Medley relay.
Gee tied the 3A record, along with runner-up Skyleigh Smith from Douglas, in the high jump at 5-2.
The Torrington girls won the 4x200 meter relay and established a new class record at 1:47.59.
