The final week of the Wyoming High School Indoor Track season is upon us. It is the final tune-up before the state championships next weekend in Gillette. There are indoor track meets spread across three days. Gillette, Laramie, and Casper host competitions. A few teams are opting to train instead of compete this week. Here is the schedule for Week 7 of the indoor track season. Schedules are subject to change.

Thursday, Feb. 27:

Park County Invitational in Gillette at the Campbell County Recreation Center Fieldhouse hosted by Cody & Powell: Field Events start at 10 a.m. & Track Events begin at 11 a.m.

Teams Attending: Big Horn, Buffalo, Campbell County, Cody, Douglas, Kelly Walsh, Lovell, Powell, Rawlins, Sheridan, Thunder Basin, Worland.

Thunder Basin's Ashley Rogge won the 55-meter hurdles and long jump as the only 2-event winner. No boys won more than 1 event.

Girls Team Scores = Kelly Walsh 129.50, Sheridan 95, Thunder Basin 77, Campbell County 59.50, Cody 58.50, Worland 56.60, Douglas 38, Powell 37, Buffalo 30, Rawlins 22.

Boys Team Scores = Sheridan 130, Campbell County 89.50, Kelly Walsh 87, Thunder Basin 84, Cody 74.50, Buffalo 29, Worland 24, Big Horn 21, Powell & Rawlins (tied) 18, Lovell 12, Douglas 10.

Last Chance Qualifier in Laramie at the Univ. of Wyoming War Memorial Fieldhouse: Field Events start at 9:30 a.m. & Track Events begin at 9:30 a.m.

Teams Attending: Burns/Pine Bluffs, Cheyenne Central, Cheyenne East, Cheyenne South, Green River, Jackson, Laramie, Mountain View, Pinedale, Rawlins, Rock Springs, Tongue River, Wheatland.

No individual won more than one event. Laramie won 13 events, while East won seven, and Central won 4.
