
Photofest! Worland Cross Country Meet
The cross-country season has been zooming along and Worland had a meet back on Thursday with a bunch of schools from Fremont County and the Big Horn Basin. On the girl's side, senior Kinley Cooley of Powell continues her sharp season, taking the podium in 19.06.3 with Cody's Lillie Kirkham 2nd in 19.36.8 and Raina Wachob from Cody 3rd in 19.44.1 Hailie Schramm of Cody was 4th and Maya Hall of Buffalo 5th.
Cody took 1st in the team standings with just 32 points, Buffalo 2nd with 66, Powell 3rd with 68. Worland placed 4th with 76 points and Lander 5th with 118. On the boy's side, Trajn Swalstad has been dominant all season long and posted yet another win in 15.57.6. In 2nd place was Zach Friese of Buffalo with a clocking of 16.06, Davian Spoonhunter of Riverton was 3rd in 16.57. Buffalo's Ethan Rayo was in the 4 spot and Worland's Will Bishop was 5th.
Buffalo placed first in the team standings with 38 points, Worland 2nd with 44, Riverton had 92 points for 3rd. We have some all-star photos of the meet compliments of James Yule and they can be located in our gallery below. Enjoy and look for someone you recognize.
