Owen Thomson of Wright Passes 100 Wins on the Wrestling Mat

Wright senior Owen Thomson reached the 100-win plateau on the wrestling mat last week. He accomplished the feat with a victory at Moorcroft in a dual match against the Wolves on Feb. 6. Thomson wrestles at 175 pounds for the Panthers and is 29-7 during the 2025 season. He placed fourth at 165 pounds in the 2A wrestling state championships last year and finished the 2024 season with a 28-13 record. Thomson is a four-year letter winner and state qualifier for Wright.

Thomson also played football for the Panthers.
