Cheyenne East Girls Basketball Postgame Remarks (Video)

Cheyenne East has been sharp in girls' basketball so far this season with a 9-1 record and a #1 ranking in our WyoPreps poll. The Thunderbirds posted 3 wins in the Winter Showcase tournament and held two teams to under 20 points. Payton Hall, Jade Brown, and Cashlynn Haws all have been averaging 10 points a game so they have balance.

Right now, East is leading 4A in scoring, shooting, and defense so they are going to be tough if they stay healthy. This program has a long history of success placing 3rd at the 4A State Tournament for the last 2 years and a couple of State Championships in the 2 years prior to that. Over the course of the last 6 seasons, the Thunderbirds are 145-16.
