There's less than 1 month to go in the 2019 season, and things have not settled down in most of the coaches/media rankings.

For 4A Boys, it's been Thunder Basin and everyone else for awhile. The thing is...everyone else are beating each other and/or are losing to unranked opponents. As a result, the Bolts retain the unanimous #1 ranking for another week. Rock Springs dropped big time, as the Tigers lost twice last week, and just lost earlier this week to unranked Evanston. RS is now #5, after being ranked #2 last week. #2 Cheyenne Central and #3 Kelly Walsh move up as a result, while Campbell County stays at #4. The Camels lost their only game last week, but managed to take TB into overtime. This week is not an easy week for them. It started with a loss home vs. 3A Buffalo, and they visit the Indians this weekend. Meanwhile, the game of interest in the west is #3 Kelly Walsh at unranked Jackson on Friday, in what should be a battle for first place. The Broncs might have been in 1st already, and ranked in the top had they not lost to Green River, but they have a chance to redeem themselves this weekend. Sheridan is still looking for some love. The Broncs have won 4 straight to even up their record, after dropping the previous 5. If they can win at Central on Friday, they should get what they want.

3A Boys will be interesting this week, as the top 5 teams mix it up with each other several times. Worland is still the unanimous #1 team. They host #5 Buffalo who has been on the rebound as of late. As for the Bison, they follow up the game vs. the Warriors with a home game vs. #3 Torrington on Saturday. The other big game is on Saturday, when #4 Powell visits #2 Cody in a Park County battle. The Broncs won the first game a few weeks ago.

There's no change in the new 4A Girls rankings. Cheyenne Central retains the top spot, followed by Thunder Basin, Rock Springs, Cheyenne East and Kelly Walsh. There's no games on this week's schedule pitting ranked team vs. ranked team, so this is a chance for the unranked to pull off an upset.

Voting for 3A Girls was very light this week. Hopefully this week's game will get a few more voters to respond. Cody is still the unanimous #1 team. On Friday, the 2-time defending state champ visit #5 Douglas, who seems to have shown improvement as of late. #2 Buffalo at #4 Worland will be a game to keep an eye as well. Elsewhere, Riverton moves up to #3 this week.
