Jackson Soccer Player Teddy Opler Signs with Colorado College

Heading into the 2024 season, The Jackson boys soccer team was victorious in 51 of their last 58 matches throughout 3 years. The Broncs won the 4A State Championship in 2022 and 2021 so they always seem to be a title contender.

One of the main factors in Jackson's success has been the play of forward Teddy Opler. Just last weekend in Casper. he scored 3 goals in their win over Natrona and so far this season he had 12 goals and 7 assists in just 5 matches. It's that kind of ability that got him a spot on the men's soccer team at Colorado College in Colorado Springs.

Opler only appeared in 5 matches his junior year due to injury but still scored 5 times. He was an All-State selection in 4A his sophomore year with a whopping 27 goals and 15 assists. Opler opened some eyes in his freshman year with 26 goals and 9 assists, earning All-State status.

Colorado College is one of the country's finest Division III programs and last season the Tigers qualified for the D III NCAA Tournament. They finished the year at 15-5-3 with 2 wins and 2 losses in that national tournament.
