Campbell County distance runner Kendra Jensen will take her skills to the next level as she will run cross country and track at Montana Tech in Butte. She's enjoying a solid indoor track season for the Camels with a 1st place finish in the 1600 meters at the Bronc-Bison Rustbuster Meet in Gillette and took 4th in the 800 at the Campbell County Invite. Last season, she competed in the 800-meter run at the Simplot Games in Idaho in 2.27.

Jensen has competed in the 4A State Cross Country Meet and in her senior year, she took 27th with a time of 21.35.5. She placed 47th as a junior in 22.12.2, 21st as a sophomore with a time of 20.49.83, and 36th in her freshman season at 21.30.40. She also ran 20.19 at the Nike Cross Heartland Meet in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

Montana Tech is an NAIA institution that competes in the Frontier Conference.
