After a lot of teams previewed the state cross country course last weekend, teams are back to being spread out again in Week 4.

The high school season in Wyoming continues with meets in Afton, Rawlins, and Sheridan. Rocky Mountain is also hosting an event on Monday. A few teams are heading to meets in Colorado and South Dakota. A few schools do not have a competition on their schedule.

Eldon Knudson Invitational Cross Country Meet at Custer-Rocky Knolls G.C. in Custer, SD – Newcastle, Sundance

Friday, Sept. 17:

Rawlins XC Invite at Sinclair G.C. – Burns/Pine Bluffs, Cheyenne South, Fort Washakie, Green River, Lander, Laramie, Rawlins, Rock River, Rock Springs, Saratoga, St. Stephens, Wheatland, Wind River, Wyoming Indian

Laramie's Addie Forry wins the girls' race in 19:46.48. Grady Bartlett of Saratoga wins the boys' race 17:03.74. Laramie sweeps the team crowns. Varsity results below begin on Page 6.

Out-of-State Events:

Loveland Sweetheart Invitational at North Lake Park in Loveland, CO – Cheyenne Central, Cheyenne East

The Central girls took fourth, followed by the East girls in fifth. Sydney Morrell of Central was the top Wyoming girl in fourth place.

Jacob Frentheway was the runner-up in the boys' division and led the Indians to the team title with 24 points.

Newell XC Invite at Newell G.C. in Newell, SD – Hulett

Ahnya Ivie-Moody from Hulett won the race in 23:28.23. She helped the Red Devils finish second in the team standings.

Saturday, Sept. 18:

Michelle Ludwig Invite at Blacktooth Park in Sheridan, WY – Big Horn, Buffalo, Campbell County, Cody, Douglas, Glenrock, Kelly Walsh, Moorcroft, Natrona County, Powell, Sheridan, Thermopolis, Thunder Basin, Tongue River, Worland, Wright

Abby Newton of Sheridan won on her home course with a time of 20:02.32. The Cody girls won the team title by 19 over NC.

Austin Akers from Sheridan won on the home course. His time was 16:57.50. Sheridan won the team title, as well, by five points over NC.

Star Valley Invite at Valley View G.C. in Afton, WY – Lyman, Mountain View, Star Valley; Out-of-State Teams – Bear Lake (ID), Manilla (UT), Skyline (ID)

Owen Burnett and Tanner Erickson from Mountain View went 1-2 in the boys' race. Skyline, ID won the girls' race and swept the team titles.

Monday, Sept. 20:

Rocky Mountain Invitational at Foster Gulch G.C. in Lovell, WY – Lovell, Rocky Mountain - Meet was canceled.
