PhotoFest! Cheyenne Softball Tournament

The softball season did begin over the weekend with a few games and Cheyenne ended up scheduling their Invite for a single day on Tuesday after it was weather-delayed on Friday and Saturday.

Cheyenne East finished 2nd at last year's State Tournament and the Thunderbirds posted 3 wins on Tuesday. They downed Worland 7-1, Laramie 8-0 and Rock Springs 6-1. Cheyenne Central qualified for the 2023 State Tournament and went 2-1 on Tuesday with a 10-1 win over Rock Springs, a 13-3 victory over Worland, and a 3-2 loss to Laramie. The Lady Plainsmen went 2-1 on Tuesday and Rock Springs posted a 14-6 win over Cheyenne South on Tuesday with 2 losses. The Tigers were a State Tournament qualifier last season as the #3 seed from the West. South went 0-3 on Tuesday and Worland went 1-2.
