The Wyoming Indian girls basketball team showed plenty of resolve this season considering the pandemic could have wiped out their whole year. The Lady Chiefs finally got to practice midway through the season and ended up winning the 2A state championship for the 3rd straight year with a 44-29 win over Rocky Mountain in Casper on Saturday.

This team stuck together, got into basketball shape, and went 3 for 3 in the state tournament to three-peat as the 2A state champs. We talked with Wyoming Indian players Jaden Ferris and Sandie Friday as well as coach Aleta Moss about the championship game and a weird season, to say the least.
