Hard to believe, but only four weeks remain in the regular season for Single-A teams, and five are left for Double-A teams. How time flies?

Gillette has the only in-state tournament this week. Other teams are heading to Montana, Nebraska, and Nevada. A smattering of conference games is also happening this week.

TUESDAY, JUNE 20:

Final Score: Powell 15 Lander 5 (conference game) - the Pioneers led 4-1 early and added a pair of 5-run innings. Worstell had 3 hits & 2 RBIs. Johnson added a triple & drove in 4 runs.

Final Score: Powell 17 Lander 3 (conference game) - the Pioneers completed the sweep with a 9-run 7th inning. Queen and Cordes hit HRs. Queen drove in 4, while Cordes had 2 RBIs. Diaz added 2 hits & 3 RBIs.

Final Score: Powell B 5 Buffalo 1 - Powell jumped out to a 5-0 lead and held on.

Final Score: Powell B 10 Buffalo 7 - the Bulls had a 5-2 lead, but Powell B rallied with 4 in the 2nd and held on.

Final Score: Mitchell, SD 5 Sheridan Troopers 4 - the Troopers' 12-game win streak halted after a near comeback win.

Cheyenne Sixers at Jackson (conference games) - rained out; rescheduled for 7-4-23

Final Score: Laramie 3 Mountain View (Loveland, CO) 2 - Moore had 2 hits & 2 RBIs, Chavez with 13 Ks on the mound for the Rangers.

Final Score: Laramie 5 Mountain View (Loveland, CO) 4 - Rangers scored 2 runs in the bottom of the 6th and rallied for the sweep.

Final Score: Gillette Rustlers 4 Sheridan Jets 1 (conference game) - a 3-run 2nd propelled the Rustlers to the win. Voigt and Wasson with 1 hit & 1 RBI each.

Final Score: Gillette Rustlers 5 Sheridan Jets 3 (conference game) - on the 3rd lead change of the night, Gillette grabbed it back with a 3-run 5th and completed the sweep. Lemke had 1 hit & 2 RBIs.

WEDNESDAY, JUNE 21:

Cheyenne Sixers at Jackson - canceled

Final Score: Billings Post 4 Red 8 Lovell 0 - a pair of 3-run innings pushed Billings to the win.

Final Score: Lovell 6 Billings (MT) Post 4 Red 3 - an early 4-0 lead helped the Mustangs get a split on the road.

Final Score: Casper Drillers 11 Rapid City Post 320 Shooters 7 - a 6-run 7th inning pushed the Drillers past the Shooters. Pexton had 2 hits & 2 RBIs.

Final Score: Casper Drillers 9 Rapid City Post 320 Shooters 2 - the Drillers got out to a 7-1 lead and never looked back in the sweep on the road. Fazio had 3 hits & 5 RBIs.
