There were zero changes in the order of the eighth WyoPreps Coaches and Media Softball Poll released on Wednesday.

Cheyenne East was still No. 1. The Thunderbirds clinched the East Conference top seed at next week’s state tournament on Tuesday with a win over Laramie. Cheyenne East received 14 of the 19 first-place votes.

Thunder Basin stayed in second. The Bolts grabbed two first-place votes. Cross-town rival Campbell County remained in third.

The Cody Fillies garnered the final three first-place votes. They won the West Conference in the regular season. The Fillies clinched the top seed from the West with two road wins last week in Sweetwater County.

Kelly Walsh rounded out the top five for the second straight poll. Two other teams received votes.

WyoPreps provided coaches and media members around the state a chance to vote for who they felt were the top teams in high school softball around Wyoming. The voting was conducted anonymously.
