In a re-match of last year's 1A 6-Man State Championship game, Little Snake River turned the tables on Burlington and cruised to an 87-50 win to finish the year 10-0. The Rattlers received a record-setting performance from running back Bridger Cozzens who ran for 482 yards and 7 touchdowns and caught a TD pass. LSR ran the ball for a whopping 556 yards and threw for another 153.

Cozzens was the fastest guy on the field in this game on Saturday morning in Laramie and reeled off touchdown runs of 43, 52, and 19  yards in the 1st quarter. He had a 70-yard run for a score in the 2nd quarter and caught a 36-yard pass for a TD in the 3rd quarter along with a 22-yard to the house. Cozzens finished his magnificent day with touchdown runs of 8 and 22 yards.

Burlington had big numbers on offense too with Jordan Broederlow, Kole Walker, Jordan Casey, and Joe Bassett all throwing touchdown passes. The Huskies threw the ball for 272 yards and ran for 125 but missed Broederlow for a large period of time with a leg injury. Burlington finished the season at 9-2 and LSR has won 3 state championships in the last 4 years with just a single loss in those 4 seasons.
