The Saratoga boys cross country team won the 2A state championship on Saturday in Afton placing 3 runners in the top 5. Freshman Grant Bartlett was the individual champion in 17.04.6. Freshman Grady Bartlett took 2nd in 17,37.8. Their teammate Jaron Herring, who was last year's state champion took 5th. Sandwiched in between those guys were Wyatt Ostler and Jett Walker of Tongue River who took 3rd and 4th place respectively. Saratoga took first with 42 points and Tongue River was a close 2nd with 46. Wyoming Indian got the 3rd spot with 96. Here's a short video of Saturday's proceedings in Afton. Enjoy.
