The 4A East regional wrestling meet was at Cheyenne Central over the weekend. Here’s a rundown of the individual results starting with 106 pounds. Landon Wood of Sheridan pinned Isaac Lopez of Cheyenne Central to win that weight class. Landon Trujillo of Cheyenne East took first at 113 with his teammate David Stice taking 2nd.

Over at 120 pounds, defending state champion Amos Solano earned a 9-0 decision of Seamus Casey of Thunder Basin. Hunter Goodwin of Sheridan prevailed at 126 pounds with a 5-2 win over Thunder Basin’s Jeric Igo. Another Sheridan guy, Reese Osborne took the podium at 132 with a pin over Slater Bates of Cheyenne Central.

Dylan Catlin of Thunder Basin finished first at 138 with a pin over Aiden Martin of Cheyenne East. Johnathon Vroman from Central outlasted Colson Coon of Sheridan 9-5 to win the 145-pound class while Warren Carr of Thunder Basin continues his great season with a 17-1 win over Nathan Lundberg of Central at 152

At 160 pounds, the winner there was Jackson Hesford of Cheyenne East beating Brock Steel of Sheridan 11-6. Sheridan’s Hayden Crow was the 170 champ following a pin over Dawsen Hayden of Gillette. Cheyenne went 1-2 at 182 pounds with Cade Happold taking the gold and Lucas Mizel taking the silver. Keagan Bartlett of East beat Lane Catlin of Thunder Basin 3-2 to win the 195-pound class.

Over at 220, Bradley Whitright of East defeated Brock Sather of Thunder basin 9-4 and at the heavyweight spot, Dalton McInerney of Thunder Basin defeated Justin Vela of Sheridan 7-0. In the team standings in the 4A East regional, Cheyenne east took first with 240 points, Thunder Basin 2nd with 207, Sheridan 3rd with 204 followed by Cheyenne Central, Gillette and Cheyenne South
