The last weekend of the 2025 Wyoming High School basketball season is here. The 3A and 4A girls’ basketball state tournaments will be in Casper, where two teams will win a state championship during the third weekend in March. The Class 3A and 4A girls’ games will be at the Ford Wyoming Center (FWC) and Casper College (CC). Both defending champions can defend their title after qualifying for the state tournament. The defending champions in Class 3A are the Douglas Bearcats, who have officially won six in a row. The Sheridan Broncs look to repeat in 4A.

Day one action in 3A is at the Ford Wyoming Center. Day two is at Casper College. The consolation and third-place games are at Casper College. The championship is at the Ford Wyoming Center on Saturday, March 15. It is the first of the four big school state championship games.

3A GIRLS STATE TOURNAMENT BRACKET

THURSDAY, MARCH 13:

Final Score: (2E) Torrington 47 (3W) Lander 36

Final Score: (1W) Cody 58 (4E) Buffalo 34

Final Score:: (2W) Pinedale 54 (3E) Wheatland 17

Final Score: (1E) Douglas 58 (4W) Powell 38 - Lauren Olsen breaks the single-season scoring record in Wyo HS Girls BB with 716 pts this season. She had 29 pts in the game.

FRIDAY, MARCH 14:

Final Score: Buffalo 47 Lander 43 – Tigers are eliminated

Final Score: Wheatland 62 Powell 57 – Panthers are eliminated 

Final Score: Cody 48 Torrington 28 - semifinal - Hayes had 21 pts and 11 rebs for the Fillies.

Final Score: Douglas 48 Pinedale 26 - semifinal - Olsen had 29 pts for the Bearcats.

SATURDAY, MARCH 15:

Final Score: Buffalo 44 Wheatland 39 – Consolation Trophy Game - Karly Davis had 30 pts for the Bison.

Final Score: Pinedale 65 Torrington 44 – 3rd Place Game - Bowers with 30 pts and 5 asts for the Wranglers.

Final Score: Douglas 58 Cody 55 – Championship Game - Bearcats win their 7th championship in a row, 15th title in school history. Olsen led the way with 30 pts and 4 asts. Meyer added 13 pts and 5 rebs. Douglas finished 27-1. Fillies were led by Simone with 18 pts. Hayes had 14 pts and 8 rebs. Talich added 13 pts and 7 boards. Cody finished 22-5 on the season.

Final Score: Natrona County 47 Kelly Walsh 31 – Trojans are eliminated 

Final Score: Green River 76 Star Valley 40 – Braves are eliminated 

Final Score: Sheridan 47 Cheyenne East 43 - OTsemifinal - Bilyeu had 19 pts for the Broncs. Brown led East with 15 pts.

Final Score: Cheyenne Central 63 Campbell County 35 – semifinal

SATURDAY, MARCH 15:

Final Score: Green River 60 Natrona County 45 – Consolation Trophy Game

Final Score: Campbell County 53 Cheyenne East 48 – 3rd Place Game - Neary had 27 pts for the Camels.

Final Score: Cheyenne Central 45 Sheridan 20 – Championship Game Indians win their 3rd school title, 1st since 2008. Tempel led the way for Central with 22 pts and 10 rebs Cheyenne Central finished 25-2. Sheridan was led by Chase with 8 pts. McMullen had 6 pts and 6 rebs for the Broncs. Sheridan went 19-7 on the season.
