WyoPreps Coaches and Media Preseason Basketball Polls 2024-25

The preseason basketball rankings from WyoPreps.com are here. Just ahead of the 2024-25 season, the WyoPreps Coaches and Media Preseason Poll for girls’ and boys’ basketball provides a possible preview of how things might turn out in March 2025. The girls’ rankings have three of the four defending champions starting at No. 1. The only exception was in Class 4A. The boys saw two defending champs begin the season as top-ranked teams, and there was one tie at the top in 2A boys. The preseason favorites in girls’ hoops are Southeast, Tongue River, Douglas, and Cheyenne East. On the boys’ side, it is Upton, Wyoming Indian, Wright, Cody, and Laramie. There was also a tie in Class 1A girls.
