Boys Rankings Featured More Change Than Girls in the New WyoPreps Basketball Polls
The latest WyoPreps Coaches and Media Basketball Polls were a contrast. The boys’ rankings have new top-ranked teams, two ties, and a new team entered the top five in Class 4A. The girls’ poll barely changed. The only difference from last week was a tie in Class 2A. Southeast, Tongue River, Douglas, and Cheyenne East held the top position for the ladies. Lingle-Ft. Laramie, Lovell, and Laramie held their No. 1 ranking in the boys’ poll, but Class 2A saw a change at the top, as the Thermopolis Bobcats claimed the top spot. Evanston debuted in the rankings, and the ties were found in the 1A and 3A divisions.
