Rock Springs volleyball player Cali Pollastro will take her skills to the college level and compete for Utah State-Eastern. She was an all-state selection this past season as the Tigers went 18-6 and was the #1 seed from the West in the 4A state tournament.

The 6-1 middle hitter recorded 156 kills and 80 blocks and in her junior year in 2019, she led the state in blocks, regardless of classification. Pollastro has played varsity ball with the Tigers for 3 years and has played with the Rock Springs Volleyball Club since she was 13. She also has played club volleyball in Salt Lake City.

In her freshman year, Pollastro competed in track and field and took 3rd at the 4A state meet in the high jump and placed 13th in the triple jump.
